About Volunteers Global<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteers Global (referred to as \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cus,\u201d or \u201cour\u201d) operates as a volunteer placement and coordination organization based in Sri Lanka.<br>We connect volunteers with vetted host partners such as schools, NGOs, animal care centers, community organizations, tourism facilities, and conservation sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We act as a <strong>facilitator<\/strong> \u2014 managing placement, accommodation, logistics, and overall volunteer support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Eligibility<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To participate in any Volunteers Global program, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be <strong>18 years or older<\/strong> (participants under 18 may join with parental consent and supervision).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hold a valid passport and visa (if required) for entry into Sri Lanka.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be in good physical and mental health suitable for volunteer work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide accurate and complete information during application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Application and Registration<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All applications must be submitted through our website or official registration forms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once accepted, you will receive a <strong>Program Confirmation Letter<\/strong> outlining your placement, duration, and fees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>non-refundable deposit<\/strong> (usually 25% of the total fee) is required to confirm participation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The remaining balance must be paid at least <strong>30 days before the start date<\/strong> unless otherwise agreed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Program Fees and Inclusions<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Your program fee typically includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accommodation and daily meals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Airport pickup (if specified)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local transport to project sites<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weekend cultural excursions (if included in your package)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Orientation and 24\/7 in-country support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Program coordination, certification, and administration costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exclusions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Airfare and personal travel insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visa fees and vaccinations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal expenses and optional tours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical or emergency evacuation costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Cancellations and Refunds<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By Volunteer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cancellations must be submitted in writing to <strong><a>info@volunteersglobal.com<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deposits are <strong>non-refundable<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If cancellation occurs:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>More than 30 days<\/strong> before the start date: 50% refund of remaining fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Less than 30 days<\/strong> before start date: No refund available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date changes may be permitted subject to availability and partner approval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By Volunteers Global:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We reserve the right to cancel or modify a program due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, pandemic-related restrictions).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In such cases, we will offer a <strong>rescheduled date or program credit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Code of Conduct<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>All volunteers must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Respect local laws, customs, and cultural values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act professionally and responsibly at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow the guidance of local coordinators and host organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid any behavior that could harm the reputation of Volunteers Global or its partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refrain from discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate conduct.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteers Global reserves the right to remove any participant from the program without refund if these rules are violated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Health, Safety, and Insurance<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Volunteers are responsible for obtaining <strong>comprehensive travel and medical insurance<\/strong> covering accidents, illness, personal liability, and trip cancellations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must inform us of any <strong>medical conditions or allergies<\/strong> before arrival.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteers Global and its partners are not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising during participation unless caused by gross negligence on our part.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8. Accommodation and Meals<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accommodation provided will meet basic safety and comfort standards (shared rooms or homestays).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meals are typically local cuisine. Special dietary requirements should be communicated in advance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volunteers are expected to maintain cleanliness and respect house rules at their assigned accommodation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>9. Changes to Programs<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We make every effort to maintain accuracy in program details; however, schedules, placements, or activities may change due to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Local conditions (e.g., school holidays, weather, community needs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner availability or logistical adjustments.<br>In such cases, equivalent placements or activities will be arranged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>10. Media and Content Use<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>By participating, you grant <strong>Volunteers Global<\/strong> the right to use photographs, videos, and testimonials for marketing, training, or promotional purposes.<br>If you prefer not to be featured, please inform us in writing before or during your program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>11. Liability and Disclaimer<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Volunteers Global acts only as an intermediary between volunteers and host organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are not responsible for any actions or omissions of third-party partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation is at the volunteer\u2019s own risk, and Volunteers Global is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By applying to join a program, you acknowledge these terms and agree to release Volunteers Global and its affiliates from any claims arising during your participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>13.
